Established in China in 1993, Guangzhou Fangda Stage Equipment Company Ltd. is a China based lighting control system manufacturer, principally specialized in development and manufacture of stage lighting dimmer, architectural lighting control system and LED stage lighting fixture. With almost 18 years of growth and experience, we have expanded our product line to include sine wave lighting dimmer, stage lighting console, dimmer rack, dimmer pack, ambient light sensor, and many other lighting control equipment.

Entering the worldwide market in 2002, our goal was to advance the technology of our products in order to compete in the global arena. One way we accomplished this was by adopting the Windows XP embedded operating system for our lighting dimmer. This operating system was an improvement of the traditional lighting dimmer operating system and made the upgrade more convenient for consumers. Additionally, Flash memory replaced the rigid disk in our products. This replacement helps to prevent the malfunction caused by the vibrating in the transportation of each lighting dimmer and ensures the safety of the data. As a result of our advanced technology and reliable quality, our lighting control system has earned an excellent reputation and has been widely sought after in Japan, Korean, Cuba, North America, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and other places around the world.

With the successful development of our sine wave lighting dimmer in 2005, we filled a need for this technology in China as well as all of Asia. We steered away from the traditional phase control and adopted the AC-AC converting technology, which provides the silent and flexible dimming that is required in stage lighting fixture applications. The Fangda sine wave lighting dimmer is able to control the amplitude of AC sine waves and eliminate the noise caused by lamp filaments. In addition to this, the sine wave output generates no pollution on the power grid. The harmonic distortion is lower than 1%, which reduces power supply costs. As a matter of fact, China CCTV1 studio adopted our sine wave lighting dimmer to solve the harmonic mutual interference caused by their equipment.

While technical difficulties in the lighting control business are unavoidable, we at Fangda view such obstacles as a way to learn and improve upon our products. For example, while working for the China National Centre for Performing Arts and the National Museum of China, we encountered a variety of stumbling blocks concerning the products as well as technical installation. We succeeded in overcoming these issues and came away from these experiences with an abundance of new technologies and practical experience.
